Into the Blue - Live in Concert (CD/Blu-ray)

In March of 2024 Layla Zoe, also known as Canada’s darling of the Blues set out with her band of “road-warrior” musicians on the Into the Blue tour to hit the stages of Europe as she has for the past 15 years. But with one difference. During the Into the Blue Tour she split the concert into two halves each night, with one set featuring original songs from her in-depth discography (including albums produced by Henrik Frieschlader, Jan Laacks and independently) and one set featuring cover songs from artists she felt had inspired her in her youth to pursue a path in music. With Krissy Matthews on guitar (Hamburg Blues Band), Josh Rigal on bass (Alice Armstrong) and Felix Dehmel on drums (Marcus Deml), she enlisted well-known German recording engineer Martin Meinschaefer (Back to the Spirit of 66, The Lily) to record the audio from a very special night on tour on stage at Harmonie in Bonn, on March 27th, a venue well known for the famous Rockpalast concert series. Also hiring a film team to record the concert in high quality 4K film to capture the energy of her deep connection to the fans from the stage, you can now hear and see this beautiful energetic concert featuring Layla Zoe belting out original rock and blues songs, gently whispered ballads, as well familiar and not so familiar coversongs hand picked from the concert.
